Duration July 2015 – June 2017 Funding Body / Own Project Institute of Applied Research Berlin (IFAF Berlin) Project Description The project aims at strengthening competencies of care service providers in the region of Berlin and Brandenburg. Particularly, management competencies in the fields of management, organization, management accounting as well as cooperation competencies based on value-oriented interrelating should be made diagnosable and developable. The central problem in the care sector is addressed: deficient differentiation in offerings as well as absent integration of services reconciling efficiency and social welfare goals. Besides the improved matching of care offerings with cross-connected care businesses with highly individualized needs of care-dependent people, a decrease of the care prevalence lies within the target corridor of the project.
