Project Description
Conditions of knowledge work depend on interactions between institutional systems and value chain constellations. This theoretical insight will be demonstrated based on the case of the video games industry in Germany, Sweden and Poland. I will investigate how adverse employment conditions appear in coordinated market economies like Germany and affect intrinsically and highly motivated experts. The project analyses in detail in how far different institutional conditions in the fields of labour, financing and education contribute to employment conditions.
